The high speed and high precision of modern weaving machinery have put forward higher requirements for maintenance and upkeep. Therefore, the daily maintenance and upkeep of machines must be adhered to in daily production. Good maintenance of machines can unleash their greater potential and win greater economic benefits
1-day maintenance

(1) Clean the cotton fluff attached to the surface of the yarn rack and machine in each shift Keep the weaving components and winding device clean

(2) Check the self stopping device and safety device in each shift, and immediately dismantle or replace them if there are any abnormalities

(3) Check the active yarn feeding device in each shift, and immediately dismantle, repair or replace it if there is any abnormality

(4) Check the oil level mirror of the large gear plate and the oil level pipe of the fuel injector every shift

2-week maintenance

(1) Clean the yarn feeding speed regulating aluminum disc and remove the accumulated cotton fluff inside the disc Check if the tension of the conveyor belt is normal

(2) Check if the belt tension of the transmission system is normal and if the transmission is smooth

(3) Check the operation of the fabric rolling machine

Maintenance in March

(1) Remove the triangular seats of the upper and lower plates and remove the accumulated cotton fluff

(2) Clean the dust removal fan and check if the blowing direction is correct

(3) Clean the cotton fluff inside all electrical accessories

(4) Review the performance of all electrical accessories (including self stop system, safety alarm system, detection system)

4 months maintenance

(1) Clean the machine Thoroughly clean the upper and lower needle discs, including needles and sinkers, select all needles and sinkers, and replace them immediately if damaged

(2) Clean the fuel injector and check if the oil circuit is unobstructed

(3) Clean and inspect the active yarn storage device

(4) Clean the cotton wool and oil stains inside the motor and transmission system

(5) Check if the waste oil collection oil circuit is unobstructed

5 Maintenance and upkeep of woven main components

The weaving component is the heart of the knitting machine and has a direct impact on the quality of the fabric surface So the maintenance and upkeep of weaving components are very important
(1) Cleaning the needle groove can prevent dirt from entering the knitted fabric with the needle. The cleaning method is to replace the yarn with low-grade or waste yarn, start the machine at high speed, and inject a large amount of needle oil into the syringe while running, so that the dirt oil completely flows out of the groove
(2) Check if the needles and sinkers inside the syringe are damaged, and replace them immediately if they are damaged; If the quality of the fabric is too poor, it should be considered whether to update all of them

(3) Check if the width of the needle cylinder and needle groove is the same distance (check if there are straight stripes on the woven fabric surface), and if there are any defects in the needle groove wall. If the above problems are found, they should be repaired or updated immediately

(4) Check the wear of the triangle and confirm whether its installation position is correct and whether the screws are locked

(5) Check and correct the installation position of each feeding port. If any wear is found, it should be replaced
(6) Correct the installation position of the needle collection triangle at each feeding port to ensure that the length of each coil of the woven fabric is uniform and consistent with each other
Lubrication methods, oils, and lubrication execution for machine 6
(1) The lubrication method and oil level gauge of the large toothed disc should be checked daily. If the oil level is below 2/3, manual refueling is required Use 140 # -160 # engine oil If oil stains or sediment are found during the six-month maintenance, they should be replaced immediately The transmission gears of Dading should be inspected once a month and lubricated with grease Using No. 4 bentonite lubricating grease (commonly known as snow oil) During the six-month maintenance, check all transmission bearings and add lubricating grease Use high-temperature resistant lubricating grease All weaving parts (including oil injection machines) must be lubricated with high-speed knitting machine specific needle oil or disc knitting machine specific lubricant
(2) Lubrication execution
Truly mastering the types of oil and lubrication time for each part, so that each designated part of the machines in the entire factory can receive the specified type and amount of lubrication within the specified time
7 Maintenance and upkeep of power distribution system
The power distribution system is the source of power for knitting machines and must undergo strict regular maintenance to avoid unnecessary malfunctions

(1) Check for electrical leakage in the machine

(2) Check for any malfunction of the switch buttons

(3) Check the safety and effectiveness of detectors at all times

(4) Check the circuit for wear and breakage

(5) Inspect the interior of the motor, clean any dirt adhering to each part, and lubricate the bearings

8 Precautions for shutdown and sealing
Maintain and upkeep the machine according to the six-month maintenance program, and add lubricating oil to the weaving components; Add oil repellent to the knitting needles and sinkers, and finally cover the machine with an oilcloth soaked in needle oil and store it in a dry and clean place

Storage of machine accessories and spare parts

The normal storage of commonly used and vulnerable parts is an important guarantee for production continuity. The general storage environment should be cool, dry, and have a small temperature difference. The specific storage methods are as follows:

(1) The storage of syringes and needle trays begins with cleaning the syringes, adding engine oil and wrapping them with oilcloth, and placing them in a wooden box to prevent damage or deformation Before use, use compressed air to remove the engine oil from the syringe, and add needle oil during use

(2) The storage of triangles is classified and stored in boxes with needle oil added to prevent contamination

(3) Storage of knitting needles and sinkers. New needles and sinkers should be placed in the original packaging box and the sealing strip should not be removed Old needles and sinkers must be cleaned and inspected. Damaged ones should be sorted and stored in boxes, and needle oil should be added to prevent damage
Attention: All weaving components (including needles, sinkers, triangles, and syringes) must be cleaned only with knitting oil to avoid affecting the normal performance of other parts of the machine The spray type oil filling and lubricating system of the knitting machine must provide clean and dry compressed air without moisture. Therefore, the air compressor unit should be equipped with a water separation and dehumidification device At the same time, it should be ensured that the high-pressure air output from the pipeline does not contain dirt or debris The storage time of parts should not be too long, and regular inspections should be carried out
10 Common Problems in Weaving Production

(1) Broken hole (i.e. hole)

Mainly caused by coarse yarn

Caused by poor quality or excessively dry yarn

Excessive yarn tension or winding tension

Circle timing

The circle is too long and the woven fabric is too sparse

(2) Missing needle ----------- Incorrect feeding nozzle position ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

(3) Loop phenomenon ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(4) Needle tongue damage: The feeding nozzle is positioned too high or too forward or backward, and pay attention to whether the needle tongue has entered the yarn guide hole of the feeding nozzle

(5) Needle heel collision -------- Lack of oil or improper use of oil ------- Poor yarn quality or unsuitable yarn count weaving ------- High vehicle speed or fabric density ------- When forming circles ------- Caused by damaged needle cylinder, needle disc or triangle ------- Weaving components are not smooth and not clean enough

(6) Damage to the sinker ----------- Lack of oil or improper use of oil ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
