The knitting three line lining machine is a specialized derivative of the knitting large round machine. Through a unique three line feeding and lining structure, transverse weft yarns can be embedded in fabrics to weave stable and non deformable weft knitted fabrics. It is widely used in clothing accessories, home textile decorative fabrics, industrial knitted fabrics and other fields, with the core advantages of high stiffness and strong tensile strength.
1、 The core structural characteristics of the three line lining machine
On the basis of conventional knitting circular knitting machines, the three line lining machine optimizes the feeding and looping mechanisms for the lining process, and the overall design revolves around “precise lining and stable looping”:
1. Special weaving mechanism: the core of lining weft to form a circle
-Three needle track configuration+lining yarn guide: The entire machine’s needle cylinder is equipped with three independent needle tracks, corresponding to the feeding paths of the ground yarn, veil, and lining yarn; The dedicated lining yarn guide is installed on the outside of the syringe, which can accurately feed the weft yarn horizontally into the gap between the coils, without participating in the formation of loops, only serving as a cushion to ensure the lateral dimensional stability of the fabric.

3. Pulling and coiling mechanism: adapted to the characteristics of lining fabric
-The traction roller adopts a tooth shaped anti slip design to increase the contact friction with the fabric. The traction speed is strictly synchronized with the weaving speed to avoid displacement of the lining yarn due to uneven traction, ensuring consistent fabric width.
-The winding device is equipped with an elastic tension buffering structure, which reduces the tension of the rolled fabric compared to conventional circular machines, preventing the lining fabric from transverse shrinkage due to excessive pulling, and ensuring that the fabric roll is flat and wrinkle free.
4. Electrical control system: Visual control of process parameters

2、 Key production process points of three line lining machine
1. Yarn selection and pretreatment
-Priority should be given to using pure cotton or polyester cotton blended yarn with uniform stripes for the ground yarn and veil, to ensure the stability of the loop formation; The lining weft yarn can be selected from polyester low elastic yarn, nylon monofilament or spandex core spun yarn according to the needs. Polyester weft yarn enhances the stiffness of the fabric, while spandex weft yarn endows the fabric with lateral elasticity.
-All yarns need to be humidified and anti-static treated. It is recommended to pre shape the lining weft yarn to reduce electrostatic adsorption and curling deformation during weaving and improve the flatness of the fabric surface.
2. Precise tuning of process parameters
-Adjustment of lining depth: By adjusting the height of the lining guide triangle, the depth of the weft yarn buried in the coil is controlled. The deeper it is buried, the higher the stiffness of the fabric. Otherwise, the fabric surface is softer and needs to be repeatedly adjusted according to product requirements.
-Tension and speed matching: Light and thin lining fabric (such as shirt collar lining fabric) needs to lower the speed and lining tension; Thick industrial fabrics, such as tent base fabrics, can be used to increase vehicle speed and increase lining tension, balancing production efficiency and fabric quality.
-Control of gap between syringe and sinker: A gap that is too large can easily cause the weft yarn to be exposed, while a gap that is too small can wear out the yarn. It needs to be precisely adjusted according to the thickness of the yarn, and the conventional gap should be controlled at 0.1-0.3mm.
3. Key points for daily maintenance of equipment
-Regularly clean the yarn impurities in the lining guide and settling plate guide groove to prevent blockage and yarn deviation; Check the wear of the needle hooks on each shift, replace deformed needles in a timely manner, and avoid hook defects.
-The lubrication system prioritizes the use of low viscosity specialized knitting machine oil, with the oil needle oil output adjusted to 1 drop/minute. The focus is on lubricating the lining weft triangle and settling plate guide rail to avoid oil contamination of the fabric surface.
